Caustic Recovery

Nishat Chunian Limited has set-up a Caustic Recovery plant which recycles the caustic soda used during the production process of fabric processing. This state-of-the-art plant recovers 65% (approximately) of the used caustic soda thereby reducing the emission of pollutants in waste water. The benefits of this plant are threefold; reducing the disadvantageous environmental impact, providing cost savings in chemical and water recovery as well as energy savings through recovery of hot water. Additionally, it also reduces water usage and the need to manufacture these chemicals, which further reduces emissions.

Waste Water Treatment

In our effort to conserve the environment and ensure the well-being of our employees, Nishat Chunian Limited has established a Water Effluent Plant at our Dyeing and Printing site. This plant recycles contaminated wastewater which is a by-product of the textile production process. By removing toxins from this wastewater, we ensure that the surrounding inhabitants, including people and marine life are not exposed to any poisonous substances.
